No, you do not need a DJH membership to stay at Hostel Sleps.
However, you can also book stays in the youth hostel via the booking function on our website. In this case, a valid DJH membership is required. More information at: www.jugendherberge.de/en/membership/
Hostel Sleps is centrally located in the old town of Augsburg at: Unterer Graben 6, 86152 Augsburg.
From Augsburg main station, you can reach Hostel Sleps by bus 44 to “Klinik Vincentinum” (does not run on Sundays), or by trams 3, 4, or 6 to “Königsplatz”, then tram 1 to “Barfüßerbrücke”. From each stop, it is only a few minutes’ walk.
Hostel Sleps is also located close to the “Romantic Road” cycling route from Würzburg to Füssen. Before reaching Augsburg, the route follows the Lech River into the city. Our hostel is only about 500 meters from the cycle path.
Due to its central location in Augsburg’s old town, direct access is only possible for loading and unloading. A limited number of on-site paid parking spaces are available, which you can request directly when booking. We recommend requesting a parking space as early as possible. Confirmation is provided separately.

The reception at Hostel Sleps is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight). Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to midnight, and check-out is from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

You can cancel your booking free of charge – provided it was made directly with us – up to one day before your planned arrival, by 6:00 p.m. In case of late cancellation or no-show without cancellation, we charge a cancellation fee of 50% of all agreed services per person and night. Group bookings are excluded from this policy.
You can pay in cash, with a debit card (EC card), or with common credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). We do not charge any additional fees for credit card payments.
