Our parent organization

Lehmbau
Gruppe

In 2006, in cooperation with the City of Augsburg and the Augsburg Lehmbau Group, the Sleps was created from a former administrative building – a vibrant place where people from all over the world come together. The project offered disadvantaged young people the opportunity to take responsibility and prepare for the working world. More than 60 young people took advantage of this chance, and many went on to successfully enter the job market.

Today, Sleps belongs to the Augsburger Gesellschaft für Lehmbau, Bildung und Arbeit e.V., a broad-based educational provider in the greater Augsburg-Swabia region.
In this way, the house combines social responsibility with lived hospitality – a place where accommodation and engagement go hand in hand.
